Managing My Group

MANAGING YOUR PARKVIEW SMALL GROUP: Groups 2.0

We are excited about this NEW feature where you can manage your small group online!  Through Fellowship One Groups 2.0, you can manage your group by creating and editing your group details (description, location and schedule).  You can also add or remove group members and email your group.  If you are looking to add new people to your group, you can also make your group “searchable” in the new online Group Finder.  Group Finder allows “prospects” to search for an open group and contact you via email. You can then manage these prospects within Fellowship One Groups 2.0.

GROUPS 2.0 VETERANS:

For those who are already set up with GROUPS 2.0, go directly to GROUPS 2.0 LOGIN!

GROUPS 2.0 ROOKIES:

By investing just a few minutes, you’ll be up and running with GROUPS 2.0 in no time!  (If you run into any problems, just shoot an email to Cyndee Barduson!)

1.    First, it would be very helpful for you to check out this overview video so you can see the capabilities of this online tool for those who are trying to get connected.

2.    Your next step will be to create a GROUPS 2.O ACCOUNT so that you’ll be able to jump in and manage your group.

Please note that your GROUPS 2.0 ACCOUNT is different from your My Parkview Account. You will still use your My Parkview account for online giving or to register for events.  You will use your GROUPS 2.0 account strictly for managing your small group! For the sake of your password sanity, you might want to make your GROUPS 2.0 password the same as your My Parkview password…one less thing to remember!

This very short video will take you through the account creation process.

3.    After you watch the video, it’s time to actually create your GROUPS 2.0 account by entering your name, the email address you use for Parkview stuff, and your chosen password. Easy Peasy!

4.    After you create your GROUPS 2.0 account, just check your email inbox for an email from “noreply@infellowshipone.com.”  Click on the link in that email to confirm that your account is ready to use!

5.    Finally, you are now able to login to your GROUPS 2.0 account to update your small group information, including when you meet, if you provide childcare, whether you’re open to new group members, etc.  For more information we have one more short video for you!
